Mesures prises par le comité	After discussion, the committee determined that the appropriate answer to both questions is, no. The condition apparently results from a normal path of wear related to the bearings that contain the output shaft. If not corrected, the problem will ultimately reach a condition of excessive steering wheel freeplay and it will be apprpriate to use OOSC 8.a. to address it. If the wear progresses to the point that components misalign, then there could be binding. In this situation, OOSC criteria 8.j. will come into play.

After discussion, the committee determined that the appropriate answer to both questions is, no. The condition apparently results from a normal path of wear related to the bearings that contain the output shaft.
