Solicitud de acción	Me gustaría tener un documento escrito que indique: "Esta sujeción no debe incluirse en el cálculo de los requisitos de peso de la carga" o algo similar. Si esto quedara claro, no habría disputas con las compañías de transporte ni controversias en los tribunales.
Medidas adoptadas por el comité	This issue was addressed in the Cargo Securement Public Forum and the Vehicle Committee. The regulators reported there that there is nothing in the regulations or Standard 10 to preclude the tiedown being used for the accessory equipment to be included into the aggregate working load limit. Therefore, if there is a tiedown required for the accessory equipment, the WLL for that tiedown will be added to the tiedowns to determine the aggregate working load limit. It was discussed that this question has come up often in the past and some direction should be given to promote uniformity. It was determined that Ops Policy 5 in the FAQ section would be the most adequate document for this information. Wording was drafted during the public forum meeting and further amended during the Vehicle Committee Meeting. FAQ: Can a tiedown used to secure auxiliary equipment on a heavy vehicle be used in the calculation of the aggregate working load limit? ANSWER: Yes NOTE: The Executive Committee asked for a small amendment and the word ?Can? was amended to the word ?Shall?. After the amendment the motion was passed by the Executive Committee.
