| Medidas adoptadas por el comité | There is often a pan under bus fuel tanks that prevents inspectors from seeing the bottom of the tank. Fuel that runs-over durign the refueling process by coming back out of the fuel fill spout can pool on the pan and give a false signal that the tank is leaking. This should not create a problem because, unless they can positively determine that a defect exists, inspectors are trained not to list a violation. A note was made in the North American training course, to cover awareness of the possibility of fuel pooling. The committee agreed that this is all the action that is needed on this item. |
