This year’s Brake Safety Week is Aug. 25-31.
In addition to reporting inspections and brake-related out-of-service violations, inspectors will also capture and provide data on brake lining/pad violations – the focus area for this year’s Brake Safety Week.
CVSA created a 2024 Brake Safety Week flyer with 10 brake lining and pad tips for drivers/operators to avoid violations.
