U.S. DOT Requests Comments on Strategic Plan
On Aug. 8, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requested comments on the development of its strategic plan for fiscal years 2026-2030. Comments are due by Sept. 8.

PHMSA Publishes Updates on Special Permits
On Aug. 6, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) published updates on special permit applications:

• List of Applications for Special Permits – Comments are due by Sept. 5.
• List of Applications for Modification of Special Permits – Comments are due by Aug. 21.
• Notice of Actions on Special Permit Applications – Comments are due by Sept. 5.
