On Jan. 13, FMCSA granted CVSA’s petition for reconsideration regarding FMCSA’s final rule on the applicability of emergency exemptions. The petition requested that FMCSA reconsider the duration of the automatic regulatory relief that takes effect upon a regional declaration of emergency by a governor, a governor’s authorized representative or FMCSA.
