On Nov. 2, CVSA submitted a petition for reconsideration regarding FMCSA’s recent final rule on the applicability of emergency exemptions. CVSA petitioned FMCSA to reconsider the duration of the automatic regulatory relief that takes effect upon a regional declaration of emergency by a governor, a governor’s authorized representative or FMCSA.
