On Oct. 22, CVSA petitioned FMCSA to amend the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations by requiring that noncompliance with English language proficiency requirements in § 391.11(b)(2) result in a driver being placed out of service. CVSA is asking FMCSA to amend § 390.5T and § 391.11(b)(2) as part of the petition to make this change.
