On March 29, U.S. Senators Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ) introduced S. 1034, the Truck Parking Safety Improvement Act, which creates a short-term authorization of funds to increase truck parking capacity and to improve existing truck parking infrastructure. Senators Jon Tester (D-MT) and John Boozman (R-AR) joined as co-sponsors. CVSA expressed strong support for this bill during the 117th Congress.
