On Jan. 15, the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation held a confirmation hearing to vet Secretary of Transportation-designate Sean Duffy. During the hearing, Duffy outlined his plan for infrastructure investment. He also placed particular emphasis on the department’s safety culture and prioritizing safety in every action the agency takes.
