On April 9, CVSA submitted comments for the record of the March 26 U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure’s Subcommittee on Highways and Transit hearing, “America Builds: How Trucking Supports American Communities.” The hearing provided an opportunity for members to engage with industry stakeholders to better understand issues encountered by the trucking industry. CVSA’s comments offered recommendations related to truck parking, personal conveyance and safety technology, as well as provided insight into CVSA’s surface transportation reauthorization priorities.
