FY2014 Funding

There has been quite a bit of activity on the Hill in the last 24 hours. First, both the House and the Senate have passed a 3-day extension to the current continuing resolution funding the federal government, which was set to expire at midnight tonight. The short extension averts another government shutdown as lawmakers work to finalize the Omnibus Appropriations bill, which will fund the government through the end of FY2014.

The Omnibus bill was approved by the House earlier today, and is now on its way to the Senate. The bill includes steady funding for FMCSA and MCSAP.
