As expected, the final surface transportation reauthorization, the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act of 2015, passed both the House and Senate and is now waiting for the President’s signature. It’s still unclear whether he will sign it today or if an extension into next week is necessary, but at this point, the final steps are procedural and we can consider the bill passed. CVSA staff is working to on a summary of the bill, which will be sent out as soon as it’s completed.
