Update on Relevant U.S. Regulations
On May 8, 2015, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) announced that the agency will conduct a public meeting on June 10, 2015, to discuss proposals in preparation for the 47th session of the United Nations Sub-Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods.
On Wednesday, March 4, the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation’s Subcommittee on Surface Transportation and Merchant Marine Infrastructure, Safety and Security held a hearing, entitled “Surface Transportation Reauthorization - Oversight and Reform of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.”
